Mother’s Day Fused Glass Workshop – A Creative Treat for Mam

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for something a little more meaningful than flowers or a last‑minute dash to the card aisle, I’ve got just the thing. This year, why not treat your Mam (or yourself!) to a creative experience she’ll actually remember?

I’m hosting a special Mother’s Day fused glass workshop where you’ll design and make your own free‑standing curved glass piece. It’s a beautiful project — simple enough for beginners, but with plenty of room to play, experiment, and create something truly personal.

There’s something lovely about slowing down, choosing colours, arranging shapes, and watching an idea take form in glass. It’s calm, hands‑on, and a little bit magical. And once your piece has been professionally kiln‑fired, it becomes a glowing keepsake that lasts far longer than a bunch of daffodils.

Whether you’re coming with your Mam, making a gift for her, or simply treating yourself to a couple of hours of creative joy, you’re very welcome.

Small groups, relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of tea, coffee, and chat — the perfect way to celebrate the day.

2026 Easter Reject Sale

Celebrating 13 Years of Beautiful Imperfections

This Easter week, I’m opening the studio doors for a special 13‑year Reject Sale — a joyful collection of perfectly imperfect pieces that never made it to full price but still deserve a loving home.

Expect shelves filled with quirky experiments, colour tests, slightly wonky shapes, and one‑off creations from over a decade of making. Every piece has its own charm, its own story, and its own little flaw that makes it unique.

Whether you’re a collector, a bargain hunter, or simply curious, this is a fun chance to pick up something handmade at a reduced price and give these “rejects” the happy ending they deserve.

• A relaxed, rummage‑friendly atmosphere

Come along, explore, and maybe find the piece you didn’t know you needed.

I’m excited to share that my summer exhibition is happening at Craig-y-Nos Country Park! I’ll be showcasing plenty of new glass creations—and I can’t wait for you to see them.

As well as our artists and makers having extra and special work for sale,Fairy Cwtch, Born Again Bottles and Dwy Afon will have tables in the Hibbert Room too. Plus there will be lots of other delights to enjoy, including live music and a foraging walk with Adele Nozedar on the Monday. It promises to be another wonderful event at beautiful Craig y Nos!

I will be having a stand in the Hibbert room but will not be attending. Off to the woods to party !

Platform 1 - Summer Craft Fair in Aberglasney Gardens - 18th August - 30th August 2018

Platform 1 is a local group of Crafters & Artists working as a cooperative. I had the pleasure of joining Platform 1 in 2016 and what a pleasure it is to work with a group of professional crafters. There will be a range original Art , photography, hand knitting, Slate, Jewellery, Leather made goods, Pewter, Slate, Pottery and the most wonderfull hand made cushions and so much more to mention. Platform 1 hold regular exhibition at the brecon mountain centre as well as having a permanent space in the frount of the shop.

This will be my 3rd year in Swansea and really looking forward to meeting old & new customers. I have some new ideas for christmas gifts, to suit all pockets. 

After Exhibiting in Aberglasney twice this year, in Spring & Summer, I thought I should be there in the winter to watch the seasons in this magnificent grounds.

I thought I would have a taster week of the Cardiff Christmas Markets. I will confirm my location when I know. 

I have never been to an event like this before so really looking forward to spending a day in the Park.

I got my table booked in the Marquee , Pray for good weather but this is a very popular event which show cases the fantastic talent of local crafters & Artists.

Following its success last year, Goodhand Glass will be exhibiting at The Big Art Show  in the beautiful medieval town of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, in  July 2016 and  new for 2016 is our Autumn show in the grounds of Secretts of Milford in Surrey, conveniently located 2 miles from Godalming and 6 miles from Guildford.

This will be a 2-day show, running on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September. the West Mid Showground, beside the River Severn.

Opening times each day will be 10am – 5pm.
