Goodhand Glass House
Craig-y-nos country park
This is my first shop and I never realised how much fun it is to sit in the most beautiful location, over looking the duck pond and the beautiful mountains, meeting people from all over the world and sometimes making friends with people I will never see again.
Black Mountain Centre - Brecon Beacons
The village of Brynamen has made full use of this lovely old building, with Cafe, educational classes, Post office and Drs surgery. When I popped in for a migty fine breakfast I was impressed with the coummunity making this happen and work.
The Black Mountain Centre,
Myddfai Community Hall and Visitor Centre
Is an energy efficient facility in the heart of the picturesque village of Myddfai, three miles from Llandovery in Carmarthenshire, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Cardigan Castle Gift Shop
I went to Cardian Comprehensive school many moons ago. I use to go to the chip shop near the Castle walls and wonder about what went on behind those mighty walls. It has been a great experience to see this magical place open to the public.
National Park Visitor Centre
Park Visitor Centre
I was invited by a local artist & crafters cooperative Platform 1 to set up a pop up shop in the craft shop in the National Park Visitor Centre. This was a temporary arrangement with all the Platform 1 members taking it in turns to manage the shop. This was so successful that we have been invited to stay.
The knock on effect is that the Centre has remained open. I think this method of working is very forward thinking and its been a pleasure to be part of this adventure.
I met Amanda's work before I met Amanda in the Royal Welsh ...let me explain. We both had stalls in the Royal Welsh Winter Fair, I went for a wonder to check out the other crafters and found Amanda's fantastic colourful work , but she wasn't there because by some strange coincidence she was at my stall leaving her business card for me to contact her about possible business together…. and now we are ladies that lunch and put the world to right, whilst making and selling Art.
Elan Visitor Centre
I was introduced to the buyer for the Elan Visitor Centre by a new dear friend (Julia Harris) who I met when setting up the Arts in the Tawe Valley - Group. Part of the reason for starting a group like AiTTV was to create support and networking (darling) opportunitys for local artists. It worked and what a pleasure it is to make deliverys to this wonderful gem of Wales.
